A few years ago, the Center for Fiduciary Studies (now part of fi360.com) at the University of Pittsburgh developed a set of quality control standards which they call the Global Fiduciary Standard of Excellence ("GFSE"). The GFSE itself is based on protocols similar to those found in ISO 19011:2002. Bob immediately saw the applicability of the GFSE became certified as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) by fi360. Furthermore, Bob received the support of both the Center for Fiduciary Studies and the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence ("CEFEX") in Toronto. CEFEX is the primary global certifier for those seeking a registered, public certification of conformance to the GFSE.
